A method you can follow.
Six stages, five quality criteria and an honest note on achievements.
From first word to handover
Listen
A short call or written brief to understand the problem, the people affected and any fixed constraints such as dates or budgets.
Shape
A written scope and stage-by-stage estimate. Nothing is built until you agree it.
Design
Journeys, wireframes and a clickable prototype, tested with a handful of real users where possible.
Build
Small increments with test builds you can try, and a shared list of open questions.
Prepare release
Checklists, store listings, privacy declarations and a rollback plan.
Hand over
Documentation, credentials transferred to you, and an agreed period of support.
Quality criteria
Before we call anything finished
Understandable
A new user can complete the main task without instructions.
Accessible
Keyboard and screen reader use tested; contrast and text sizing checked against WCAG 2.2 AA.
Performant
Pages and screens respond quickly on a mid-range phone over a modest connection.
Private by default
Only the data needed is collected; third-party scripts are justified one by one.
Maintainable
Code and content can be changed by someone other than the original author.
Honest achievements
What we can and cannot claim
We do not publish client logos, testimonials, award badges or performance statistics we cannot evidence. This website itself is a fair sample of our standards: no tracking, no external fonts or images, working forms with honest error messages, and respect for reduced-motion settings.
If you want to see relevant work, ask us during a conversation and we will share what we are permitted to.
